Core strength and stability
Hold your posture through the swing
Your deep core and back muscles hold your spine angle from address to finish. When they tire, posture goes and the swing falls apart. EMS works the muscles front and back of your trunk at the same time.
Why it matters
Why it matters
Hold your spine angle
Strong trunk muscles keep your posture steady through the swing instead of standing up out of it.
A stable base
The more stable your trunk, the easier it is to repeat the same movement shot after shot.
Stamina for the back nine
Tired legs and a tired core are why swings fall apart late in a round.
How EMS helps
What you get
- Works deep and outer trunk muscles, front and back, at the same time
- Trunk strength rose clearly in the golf study
- No sit-ups, no machines, no heavy weights
- Every session one-to-one with Gerard
The honest part
Research results describe group averages, and individual results vary. EMS is a strength workout; it works best alongside your normal golf and practice.
How a session works
Twenty minutes. Every muscle.
Free chat and health check
We go through your game, your goals and a short health questionnaire so we know EMS is safe for you.
Suit up
No heavy weights, no machines. You change into the miha suit and the wireless MOVE unit clips on.
20 minutes of golf moves
Squats, lunges, hip hinges and rotations, all with the impulse. Gerard sets and watches every one.
48 hours to recover
Your muscles rebuild over the next two days. Then you play, practise, and come back next week.
Questions
Good to know
Is this the same as doing sit-ups?
No. The impulse reaches the muscles all around your trunk at once, including ones that are hard to feel in normal exercises, while you do simple golf-based moves.
How soon will I notice a difference?
Most people feel their muscles working from the first session. The golf study measured results after 16 weeks of training once a week.
